
1st SGT Dick Franson
(Army - Retired - 1989)
While serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees in Vietnam during 1970, he ran for Lt. Governor of Minnesota without being in the state and tallied 119, 177 votes.
Dick is a retired First Sergeant of the Army of the United States. FRANSON was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Franson also served during the Korean War, 1950-1953.
