1st Sergeant Dick Franson
(Retired) U.S. Army 1989
While
serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees in Vietnam during 1970, he ran for
Lt. Governor of Minnesota without being in the state and tallied 119,
177 votes. While there he was
exposed to Agent Orange. He is a retired First Sergeant of
the U.S. Army and has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. He
also served during the Korean War, 1950-53.
